Here at Breckfield Young People’s Project we are concerned with the welfare of each individual.  We engage with young people aged between the ages of 11–25, focusing more so on 13-19 year olds. We offer advice, support, guidance and issue based work in addition to various other projects and services. 

You might not have heard of the youth service, centre based or detached work before. But what these things basically involve are positive opportunities for young people.

Centre based youth work is young people in a youth club or centre doing different activities or projects. BYPP, being a detached project, we're a little different. We will work out on the streets with young people, building positive relationships, identifying needs and offering positive opportunities for young people. We engage young people on their own terms and territory and we try to offer support, advice and most importantly listen to young people and what is important to them, their views, opinions and needs.
